May 6-9, 2009 -- Date Change!!
Night paint right outside your door, and wake up to the sunrise lighting up the High Sierra peaks! Daytime we can paint in the Alabama Hills at local settings featured in many of the old westerns. Then we'll come together in late afternoon and work on sunset paintings and full moon nocturnes. Our base will be the Great Space Center, a retreat center spread over 400 acres at the base of Mt. Whitney.

Thomas Van Stein is an award-winning plein air artist known for his romantic nocturne paintings. As an Oak Group and California Art Club Artist member he has been painting professionally for more than 22 years. He has been teaching classes and inspiring students
